TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN
The United Arab Emirates is a family-friendly environment and small children are welcome and appreciated everywhere. The larger hotels also have a good selection of children’s meals, especially in room service. Very small children do not usually eat at night, but it is often welcome. Phone ahead to check. In all cases, the babysitter in the main hotel.
There are many activities for children, both in and around the five-star hotels, special amusement parks and lots of green space. Children under 12 years eligible for a reduced admission fees to the general rule in most museums, amusement parks, swimming pool and entertainment center.
WOMEN TRAVELERS

DISABLED TRAVELERS
Several five-star hotel rooms and other facilities is especially suitable for people with disabilities.
The airport and major shopping centers have good access and facilities, and the Dubai Transport taxis are equipped to accommodate wheelchairs.
There are also disabled parking spaces in designated parking lots most of the city, although there is a need for disabled badge window to use them
AIRPORT FACILITIES
In June 2001 Emirates airline’s special treatment of the departure and arrival times of the special needs of passengers. As a result, wheelchair users will receive personal service.
HEALTH
Dubai is well equipped with private and public hospitals. It is worth noting that the United Arab Emirates is one of only two countries, reported cases of diseases which are not registered to a holiday survey by the leading British consumer magazine, Holiday Which? FOOD AND WATER

TIME
The United Arab Emirates for four hours ahead of GMT. The time does not change during the summer. This means that three-hour difference between Great Britain and the United Arab Emirates Local time in summer, and a four-hour difference in winter.
OPENING HOURS AND HOLIDAYS
The normal working hours are from 9:00 to 01:00 and from 4.00 to 9.00 hours of shops, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi is open all day. Most of the shopping center is open from 10.00 to 22.00 hours – often later. Some supermarkets are open 24 hours a day. Although shops and shopping malls are air-conditioned, the cool evening a popular time for shopping. Shopping malls and large stores are open on Fridays, the Islamic day of rest, but we are all close to the Juma (Friday) prayer 11.30 bis 01.30 hrs

OFFICES
Government offices open 7.30 hours of 3:00 am and close, but it would be well advised to visit this morning. Private offices are generally longer hold back the evening after work for an extended lunch break. Some private businesses open from 8.00 to 17.00 hours in all offices close for the weekend at noon on Thursday, and not until Saturday morning. Some offices outside the public sector will be open Thursday and Friday and Saturday.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
Since the Muslim festivals of the local sightings of phases of the moon at the same time, the following information as outlined in the Islamic religious holidays approximate.
